First of all..I know I aint the only one who felt a way about Kobe possibly saying the word nikka :mjpls:

Second of all...is this how far Kobe has fallen? That THE quintessential court jester would laugh at him and right to his face?

Remember how Timmy was laughing at him and Dwight said his peace but kept it moving to the bench:sas1:
howarddealwithit.gif

All up in Kobe grill laughing telling him he know him...while blowing him out on his home floor...

If this is what it's come to...Dwight Howard clowning him...in the 1st game...I can only imagine the rest of this season...

Can't wait for them to play the clippers... Matt Tresvant might actually try and kill Kobe...

It's obvious Kobe been had something on his mind, he contradicts himself too much:
-After Dwight leaves in Free Agency, he makes it clear he don't feel no type of way one way or the other yet he made sure to make it personal yesterday. You calling the guy that elbows you soft? Is it because he elbowed you or is it based on prior history (of which you feel no way about)?

-Dwight sat his ass down right next to Kobe on the bench in the All Star game last year, Kobe looks off into space and doesn't acknowledge him. That's fine and he has every right to do so, but you obviously got a problem with dude that ya'll could have talked about man to man during All Star Weekend, that's typically when players come together on some kumbaya.

-The game was over, why was Kobe bodying Dwight at that stage in the game. In what scenario does the Center not clear space with his elbows when being pressed by the Shooting Guard? Regardless of who it is or what the relationship is, we all know what happens here. Based on Kobe's pressing of Dwight and his immediate reaction after the whistle blew it's clear this was an instigation. But why? Again you supposedly feel no type of way about Dwight one way or the other.

-"Try me, try me, try me". You instigate a situation, compound it by making it personal and give the impression that you want to challenge a 7ft nikka 8 years younger than you and could bench press you 15 times without breaking a sweat. Clearly Kobe was not operating based on his best judgement. Was he trying to get Dwight kicked out the game? Was he trying to inspire and rally his team? Were the Lakers planning to trap and force some turnovers to get back in the game, lol? No, no and no!! We've all seen Kobe give up before when games are out of reach (see Phoenix) and conversely we all know the level of passion and focus he brings to the court every night. This was certainly not a strategic game planning move, it was 100% adversarial and based on poor judgement. You coming off two successive surgeries in the twilight of your career and you want us to believe you were getting ready to lay hands on Dwight? That's how you blow an ACL or an achilles, trying to swing an maintain distance, surely Kobe considered that.

-Kobe, remember Dwight doesn't have any rings, no MVPs. You shouldn't even be talking to him, he's not on your level, doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as you. What do you have to prove?

Exactly. Kobe despite all his rings and accolades is an insecure bytch that's incapable of rational thought.

His reality check is coming though.

I think this incident was a special case. Kobe was legit hurt and Dwight felt he probably should have been more mature, but I wouldn't say he bytched up.

Kobe is insecure, so poking fun at him is not something he takes lightly. For example, as much as we say Lebron is insecure about his hairline, Dwight makes the Lebron troll face in Lebrons face, and sends April Fool's pics about Lebrons hairline. They laugh, they are cool. Dwight pokes fun at Stan Van and even insinuated that its him or the coach ON LIVE TV, him and Stan Van are now closer than ever and SVG consulted him on his move to Houston. Dwight does mad impressions of folks, but it's all in fun, its just that doing an impression of or mocking Kobe unfortunately involves mimicking something psychopathic Kobe does and it hurts cuz it hits home (bad example, but picture Dwight pulling a Mendenhall on Kobe about his rapey-ness like Mendenhall did to Big Ben, yeah probably not a good idea).
it wasnt hurt bro
he just thinks dwights a clown ass nikka
shaq joked around too but knew when to turn it off
he aint like him but he respected him and his game
dwights a clown 24/7 and a dude like kobe (or even a jordan) aint gonna find his krusty the clown routine funny

Dwight can't fight though. I saw him his get his ass beat at the Southwest YMCA on Campbellton back in the day. Don't be fooled by that nikkas frame and size, he has no hands.
