It's borderline unfathomable... I have never seen a superstar who is so openly disrespected by coaches and bit players on a psychological basis, on some "if you really bout it, prove it you fukk nikka" shyt. Been this way for a decade and regardless of how many times he slam dunks a nikka into the ground or hyperventilates while pounding his chest after otherworldly clutch shots it doesn't really change - opponents view him as mentally fragile.
The Miami Heat lost, not LeBron James. And LeBron's not playing Mike 1-on-1 either...but if he were, the last time MJ was able to beat LeBron 1-on-1 was most likely in 1998 when LeBron was 14 years old - and it was still a damn close game.
Take some breaths. Make some coacoa. Make love to your woman softly. Get a good night's rest. You'll love LeBron again in the morning.
What is this podcast you are referring to?
You'll have to excuse me, as I've been on leave from The Coli for the last 4 years![]()

MITTER DA BASKETBALL HISTORIAN GAWD
4 of us got together and recorded like 50 episodes of a podcast until schedules and personality conflicts (maybe that's what it was?) derailed the show. We could've used you as a guest, homie.
After he bounced back from the Dallas series with those big games in the indy and boston series last year on the way to the title, I figured he gotten past that...i don't know if he started snorting lines of Adderall before big pressure games or what...but I just assumed the shook nikka phase of his career was over...but then these finals start and he pulls it in game oneI expressed shock, disgust, and confusion after that Mavs series, even on the podcast I was part of... me and Reb were at odds over it. I ain't an excuse maker, I just hate stan wars when they lose humor. And I will not hesitate to advocate for Kobe over Bron in real life argument based on psychopathic assertiveness over the tendency to fade into the background like Mitt Romney at a Black History Month trivia showcase. I've been erring on the side of objectivity and patience... but that supply has just about run out.

It won't take much to turn around and still win though...Duncan has been pedestrian the entire series, tony parker might be significantly hampered with that hamstring injury smh, and Danny Green and Gary Neal both cashed in their "unexpected role player wins a game" cards on the same night...all it would take is an average performance by Bron here on out to win this series
I don't know, even when the Spurs got scraped in game 2 Dancing Danny Green was perfect from the field. He might be in the midst of an all time roleplayer-version-of-MJ performance. Chasing Horry the way Kobe is doggedly pursuing MJ's records, a roleplayer hero for a new generation of fans. I'm starting to believe in that cheesy looking nikka.
If TP is significantly hampered, that'll just be sad. I'd rather Bron and co. get steamrolled out of the Finals than win a tight series because of an injury. That'll just exacerbate the propaganda wars on all sides.
I was sitting at the spot I like to catch games at and this older nikka turned to me in the 2nd quarter and was like "Bron's shyt don't show up in the boxscore; he just keeps making the right play." I had to stop myself from giving him the Pusha T sound effect. Even on the grandest stage, no matter how many points suddenly drop off Bron's standard per game output, he's now getting Tebow-esque praise for what we can't quite measure.
He better have some 34-9-12 games on deck. He looks like a real sucker ass nikka relative to his frame and talent.

I'm still waiting until this series plays out to open the vault... but all of the comparisons to MJ and the declarations of him being better than MJ (patently absurd) and the plea-copping are going to have to be dealt with, even among those without stan-related agendas.
This nikka with his loose coochie whore mother, bitten-down finger nails, and multitude of Finals games between 8 and 17 points will have to be assessed with the same sort of scrutiny, objectivity, and honesty people subject all the others to. His pass about to be eternally revoked. Bronmaggedon is coming.
