The absurdity of LeBron passing Dirk while Dirk is STILL in the league and Bron is STILL in his prime. That shyt is crazy when you think about it.

That is true. I have seen it happened a few times with younger star players passing older star players in total points.

One of the greatest players ever. Living up to the hype coming out of high school is a feat in itself. Consensus top 3-5 and not mad at someone calling him a goat. It’s a shame though, cause I feel his Stan’s being so dismissive and saying he’s the clear cut GOAT incessantly is why he catches the absurd amount criticism he has in his career.

This and also folks like to see people not live up to the hype. So that is where a lot of the hate comes from.

But Lebron is up there with the likes of other NBA greats Wilt, Kareem and Shaq who received hype at young ages and lived up/and exceeded the expectations.

It is much more difficult to come into any profession with the hype of greatness and to live up to them. Than to come in with no expectations and achieve greatness.

The craziest thing about lebron is how relatively close in age he is to guys not considered “old” yet.

He is only a little over 3 calendar years older than Curry :gucci:

Hes gonna pass Wilt in the next 10 games, Jordan in a few months. Kobe probably early next season. Malone probably the year after that. Kareem probably during his last season or two.

Honestly, not sure he'll pass Karl Malone

There's a reason majority in the top 15 are PF and Centers. They get easy baskets, even in their older stages in their career when their athleticism drastically goes down. Wing players and point guards don't have that luxury

Do you see Lebron retiring in 3 years?
