As a PS3 and PS4 owner - I hate that I dapped the OP... but this is very true. I also have the Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

It's beyond the games. OP and others did a great job describing these issues.

But it's deeper:

I used to call the PlayStation the WaitStation. I remember wanting to play a game and it had like 18 updates instead of 1 and it took forever. System updates were hell. I actually bought it for NBA 2K7, because I played the demo on Xbox 360 and the store only had it for PS3 and it was a great excuse to buy a PS3 (I was looking for an excuse). Basically - besides the summon cutscenes of FFXIII - PS3 genuinely sucked.

I said 'no. No way I'm copping the PS4'.

So I copped the PS4 and Destiny.

First thing: WaitStation + wtf the menu is the same? Messages to friends didn't arrive. Destiny looked amazing - game was crap: no story? Wtf??

Only good thing: The Wolf Among Us didn't require an install. That is a really good game.

But overall - a really disappointing console experience. Really the only advantage is sometimes I run into a game for cheap for PS4 (a non-exclusive game) and I'll pick it up.

Sony messed up.

I got every major console in my house... Xbox's get the most burn.

My neices rather play minecraft and watch Youtube on the PS4 than anything else.

I'm serious too. I never play it.... Ever. I thought No Man Sky was gonna be the game that finally brings the PS4 back into the bedroom... Next to the XB1.

If that VR shyt is a bust, then my PS4 is either going to my lil sister or neices with no remorse

Really, just mainly Forza, GOW..

Got most others though, just got a lil clique of about 8-10 people that we play Gears, Forza, and GTA almost daily.

Play other multi's (BF4, Farcry, A ton of games actually) but thats mainly it at the moment.

But like OP said, theres more to it than that

I dont give a fukk about JRPG's, ps4 community has been ass cheeks for me, wireless connectivity sucks, controller dies in what feels like hours, I NEVER gave a fukk about uncharted, dont even remember BloodBourne, no backwards compatibility unless i pay some monthly bs or its remasterd, no game sharing (), etc, etc,


PS4 is a good piece of tech though... Just like the Vita... And it's going out just like the Vita
