Sooooo how do you vote?

I act like I'm making a reasonable vote by doing the following:

1. Google candidates to see what I can find.
2. Check The Voter's Self Defense System. If they have a voting history. You can see if they voted on issues important to you.
3. Check their twitter page for bullshyt.
4. Look up local news on candidates.

I'm not going to lie, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Many do a great job either keeping things high-level or having a lot of words without saying anything. I know there are a lot of smart posters here. Share what you do to vote intelligently that can help other Coli posters.
