I fukks with Ab but they got all excited over nothing, screaming "OVO OBH" in videos, all Drake said was he was playin his shyt. He gave them some rope and they wanted to be cowboys.

Ar ab never suggested that they would be signed. They just wanted a bag. They basically explained it in the "drake got a red carpet to philly" video. All the ovo shout outs was obvious promotion and taking advantage of the marketing opportunity.

The biggest problem for Ab was the fact he had recently got out of jail and had NO music to drop shortly after drake name dropped him.

I actually wouldn't mind Ar-Ab and Dark Lo on OVO, give them some polished production and guidance they could get some good burn on the East Coast at least.

i dont think jay had paperwork on beans. i remember this whole thing started over jay blocking freeway. i think youre referring to free.

i remember 50 cent had mike knox in the studio doing records about when knox beat beans up, not too long before all of this.
and allegedly, word was that one of the things that a super-high beans was saying when he agitated knox that night, was his displeasure with knox and freeway doing g-unit philly stuff.

now im not saying for sure that beans wouldnt have signed. his money probably started looking funny around that time.
but i never took that beans/g-unit talk seriously. especially seeing that beans was washed at this point. i figured it wasnt gonna go any further than the jay disses.
