The same reason why Draymond Green is allowed to hold Lebron down during a critical jumpball and Iggy is allowed to karate chop Lebron's arm when he's shooting. The officiating is terrible so if you're going to complain about this play then you have to keep it 100 and complain about all of the calls Lebron didn't get.
What play did iggy karate chop lebron? Surely you arent talking about the play in game 2 where lebron blatantly traveled THEN got hit by iggy, right ? Cause the ref missed both calls on that 1 play. Woulda been GS ball either way

Do yall watch games or just look at facebook/ig carefully photoshopped pictures :patrice:

Do you really want to play this game? LeBron has gotten away with just as much contact on the offensive end. He's been using his offhand to create separation from his defender for most of this series. I'll tell you like I've told others - the refs are letting them play - BOTH teams are getting away with excessive contact.
There's no rule in the book that I know of that says you can't use your arm to shield defenders. MJ did it all the time

Okay, the contest can hit a player's hands/arms once the shot is released, but if they fly into the body or hit a shooter anywhere else then its still a foul. Not trying to see players get bodied out there. Actually now that I really think about it, when you're in the air taking your shot, someone hitting or hooking your arm can be really gotdamn dangerous. Scratch all that I said.

Today's offensive players have a tendency to try and clear space by using their off-arm,and illegally displacing their defender in the process. Significant contact will be called an offensive foul. Remember, a defender need not be stationary to be in legal guarding position.
It's up to the referee's discretion on what he rules excessive. Since they're letting both teams play, he's been able to get away with a lot of initiated contact.
