Tiger still out here representing! And people said that dude was done lol. He still has the biggest crowds following him and more people talk about him than anybody else. I need him to start winning tournaments though

Yeah 40 year olds don’t win majors... with 4 back surgeries it’s a minor miracle he can play at all, let alone at a high level

Tiger has a couple of majors in him once he fixes his driver. His short game is almost all the way back and he was a magician with his short stick before all the fukkery.

His best round was Saturday when he was using his driver and being aggressive. He can't be afraid of using it on Sunday.

That’s pretty much how everyone played the course though. Nobody was using their driver every hole, especially as the wind picked up. Only 4 players who made the cut hit more fairways in regulation than Tiger. His double bogey blowup is what killed him

I still can't believe Tiger held the SOLO LEAD in a major championship with 8 holes to go. He's going to win again. I can feel it. I'm getting goosebumps as I write this. Believe.

I think he's still a very high level golfer and can pull off a major if healthy, but the young guns are out driving him and(more importantly, IMO) they aren't intimidated by Tiger. It's gonna be extremely difficult for him to win one and the sands are running out of the hourglass.

Breh saw his name at the top of the leaderboard and nutted up :snoop:

Use a 3 iron off the tee on a 500 yard par 4 into the wind brehs.
Leave yourself 250 yards into a par 4 brehs
Try a flop shot out of the rough with the lead instead of a bump'n'run and take a double bogey brehs
Hit your best drive on the back 9 while somebody screams in your back swing brehs

That double bogey was the result of having to hit a long iron in the rough because he teed off with a long iron. Had he used his driver he would have been using a short stick out of the rough if he missed the fairway. Much easier than trying to muscle 230+ yards in that thick shyt.

Not saying he should have used driver on all par 4s or 5s, but he should have been aggressive like he was on Saturday. Everyone else on top played conservative like him and they all paid for it beside Molinari. McIlroy was pretty aggressive and he moved up.

Yeah that shyt was stupid. 500 yard par 4, hit 3 iron on the tee and set yourself up for another 250 yard approach with a 3 iron on a links course :russ:

His nerves are shot breh. He wont win another major unless he posts a score 3 hours ahead of the leaders. There are only a few courses that wont punish him for not being able to hit a draw and most of those are overseas. He cant win at the masters because holes 2, 8, 9, 10, 13 require a draw. 2, 8, and 13 are par 5s so he misses huge scoring opportunities. He is also terrified of being above the hole on bentgrass greens so he leaves his pitches and approach shots way too short to have realistic birdie chances.

There was one approach into the green where he was trying to hit a draw and his finish looked like he was twirling a baton:dead:

I think he can still win some majors though. Kaymer won his two majors and was only hitting a fade. He fukked his game up by trying to hit a draw to compete in the Masters.

Dustin closed out the US Open hitting predominantly a fade during the weekend. shyt can be done but he needs to put the driver in his hands.

Yeah thats true, Dustin trusts his driver though. Tiger using those irons wont even make it to most of the bends on the doglegs on US courses. He wont get those 90 yard runouts

That baton twirl :russ: Tiger looking like the drum major :dead:

Have you seen that Bellerive Course layout?? :damn: :damn:
613 par 5
603 par 5
514 par 4
501 par 4
239 par 3
215 par 3

The double at 11th was a result of a bad tee shot that could've happened with the driver too. He used a 6 iron for his second shot, he didn't have 200 yards to the hole, 11th was just playing 386 :heh: he got unlucky because the fescue moved the club before hitting the ball (and then got lucky that the shot hit the fans and bounced off closer to the hole).

Then he followed that up with his worst shot near the green all tournament, which happened because he was being aggressive and tried a very difficult shot so he could have an easier par putt.

Rory was pretty aggressive and shot 70, same score Tiger would've had if he made that very makeble putt at the 18th :heh:
