I was just watching this old Inside Edition episode on youtube earlier this morning about Jayne Mansfield and this old Hollywood columnist said that Sophia couldn't just tell Jayne to leave when the photographers were taking the pictures because at the time Sophia didn't speak English. They said this is when Sophia had first come to the States.
