The league has created rules to allow these guys to stay in the league. Years ago the cornerbacks could be as physical down the field with a receiver as they wanted. That league then changed that shyt to prevent defenses from touching receivers once they were off the line. Now every team has a slow white "possession" receiver that is the quarterback's "security blanket"; because of his "intelligence" and "knowledge" of the offense and what the defense is doing. "He is like a coach on the field (aka overseerer)". It seems like every team has a couple of those guys. Guys like Tom Waddle. How the fugg was he in the league?

Ya'll expecting the world out of most of these players. Props to Kaep but I knew 95% of the rest of black players would be "no comment" for the simple fact that football is literally their 9-5 job. Kaep brought his protest into the workplace and when somebody does that not everybody is going to get down with the movement.. this is their paycheck to feed themselves and their families..

Also I think if Kap got a little deeper into what kinds of things he wants to see done by the government, police force, etc I believe he would've gotten more support. He said "I'll stand for the Anthem once sh*t improves" and we all know that might never happen. He simply needed a couple of detailed statements like: "I want to see this type of law passed- I want to see these types of programs set up with the police force in majority black neighborhoods- I want the NFL to start up a program where we do 'this n that' in the community", etc. I think he would've had way more support from his peers if he broke down some sh*t. Every dude that has made a stand(Malcolm, MLK, Jim Brown, etc) always had a list of things that were tangible and at least sounded tangible and presented to the masses. Plus low key I honestly think alot of players might think this is simply a phase he's going through.

The Jerry Rice's and whatnot should've just did a "no comment" and kept it moving.

Stopped watching in 2012, regretted ever watching or playing. American Foolsball is run by high level Republicans like Rodger Goodell who's wife Jane Skinner was a Fox News host , who hosted a show called Happening now until Rodgers Goodell got the commissioner job.
