He gave them the name Maze cuz they were amazing and they would open for him.

My uncle was a huge fan of Maze and used to play their albums all the time.

Frankie Beverly really changed the game for music. He and Maze had a perfect balance of smooth grooves and rugged funk.

On my IG TL, I saw numerous folks posting their favorite Maze & Frankie Beverly songs and NONE OF THEM were the same. That shows you the greatness of the group and this man in particular. Rest easy Mr. Beverly. I’d say we got it from here but judging from the state of affairs musically, I don’t know anymore.
