The difference is the source of those bootlegs is in China. And if Nintendo (or whoever) requests a bootleg be removed, Amazon has to comply. But Amazon has become notoriously lax with policing bootleg products over the last decade, so even if one gets pulled 10 more pop up in it's place.
Soulja Boy made himself the source of these bootlegs by putting his name and face all over the product and advertising. Which is what we told people as soon as the thread started. People are sitting up wondering why Nintendo is singling out Soulja Boy and not all these Chinese products....gee, I dunno....maybe because Soulja Boy lives in America and was on social media daring Nintendo to sue him?
So yeah....they Debo'ed his site, obviously after they threatened to sue him into oblivion. And they ain't gonna let him keep shyt from it's sales, either. Which again....is what we told people as soon as the thread started.

Race 100% had a lot to do with it. Some of the comments are way too happy about it and a good amount actively tried to get him arrested.
Weirdly, I've seen numerous streamers/content creators buy arcade machines with mame and pirated content on there with nobody really caring or saying a word.
Not 1:1 comparable, but gamers are toxic as fukk and i hate saying shyt like that, but I got a feeling people didn't like seeing a black rapper be so confident about skirting around Nintendo and calling haters fakkits
