NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Lil Nas X has given Nas more praise and respect publicly than most of these “lyricists” of the new generation do. Lil Nas X was publicly calling Nas the GOAT and inviting him to perform at the Grammys (which was his first time ever performing) while Symba was saying Jadakiss was better and Tierra Wack was saying Nas isn’t in her top 10.
That whole segment was goofy considering their history of dikkriding Nas. Especially from Tierra Whack.

It’s backhanded

He basically called Draco trash

This.

It’s bad on both sides and confirms thoughts I’ve had on cole. Dude is a man with no country. He KNOWS the shyt is trash, but he wanna fit in so he says shyt like this… meanwhile they don’t even rate him

When I finally saw his comments I woulda titled it as ‘J Cole explains when he sold out’ :unimpressed:

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”

Every rap ngga from Cole to Kanye who KNOWS better but co-signs new age bullshyt just to stay trendy, they got blood on their hand of why the rap game is in the guttter

Nah Marco polo was corny to me.

I remember when they debuted the video on MTV. It was a new show they were trying to do on Friday nights after TRL died

They had a panel of celebs judging the vids and I think people could call or text in to vote for it.

Anyways they ask Pink about the song, and she goes "idk man I miss Tupac. I miss Biggie."

Bow Wow face was priceless :russ: and to make it worse. He was hosting the damn show :mjlol:

Bow Wow was embarrassed.

:to::to:

Pac would have turned that song into a Party Anthem himself. He would have made "I Get Around 2.0"

This explains so much.

Soulja Boy's music is easier to digest nowadays since the bar is so low...

Him rapping like Gucci saved his career or he would have ended up a footnote like New Boyz and Cali Swag District.

Fun Fact: This was one of DP Beats earliest placements. He was ghostproducing under Lil Keis.

:ohhh:
Oh shyt really?? Lil Keis was my favorite producer back when I was in HS and I always wondered why he stopped making beats and DP is one of my favorite producers now lol never knew they came up together

i get what cole is saying

When jeezy first came out i thought he was trash, i was heavy into lyrics and east coast rap, and what he was doing was just very different and simplistic for me.

I'm a huge jeezy fan now, would never think to call him trash whatsoever. It's about being open minded to different types of music and not being in a box.

At da end of da day tho, Cole thought Draco was trash when he came out lol and probably for a long time after that. Soulja got a lot of that coming up in da game, so he's sensitive to that.

Cole used a different naame i guess lol
