The Pacers should get Eric Gordon. Trade Granger for him, works for both squads.

Pacers aren't trying to add that contract though, but from a basketball perspective that would be a scary sight.

4:39pm: The Pelicans will receive cash and future draft picks from the Blazers in the deal, tweets John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Sam Amick of USA Today adds (via Twitter) that the Kings will also receive a future second-rounder from Portland.
:wtf: The fukk are the Blazers trading draft picks for the fukk of it? They already gave up 2 2nd rounders for T-Rob, and now giving up picks for Robin Lopez? :what:

I think this is a decent trade for the Pelicans and the Kings. The Kings need a real point guard to pair up with Mclemore. And they can still keep Thornton and Thomas as their backups though I think they will get rid or Marcus.

fukk that, get rid of Thornton and Keep Cousins. DeMarcus isn't going anywhere.

I like the trade though. I've been of fan of Vasquez for years and they need better decision makers with the ball. Reke will be missed though.

I would gladly take Thornton back, boy can scored from the bench.

Nowhere in my post did I state they should trade Boogie. He is a stud to me and basically is just immature and needs to grow up. It's not like he is out here getting arrested and shooting up clubs so he is salvageable to me. You don't trade talent like that that's barely old enough to drink this early in their career. If I were them I would keep Thornton as their sixth man if they had to choose between him and Isaiah. But if they can they should keep both.

Agree with Boogie but do you think Thornton would be fine with coming off the bench though :lupe:

That's the big question though. He probably looks at players like Monta and OJ Mayo and thinks he is just as good of a scorer and wants to start somewhere. I'd take him in Chicago if they could make it happen.

:why: Why they gotta trade Whitey for?

Who's T-Rob?

I'm thinking they wanted a center ready to play now. Aldridge doesn't want to play center anymore.

They only gave up one 2nd rounder for Lopez.
