The difference with Blatt - and several people mentioned it - is that he's not acclimated to the NBA. He's been in Europe and Israel for the last 2 decades and don't know about different NBA players/coaches and strategies.

Dude is WAY over his head and probably knew it from the day that Lebron announced he was going back to Cleveland.

The difference is the Cavs had a strong front office that was not afraid to tell Lebron no to his demands. The Cavs have always bent to Lebron's will.

He might be a bad fit for Cleveland. But black and white, people who know the game say Blatt is a legit basketball guru though. EVERYONE who knows him says he deserves a shot to coach in the NBA, again he might be bad fit but there's lots of dudes lately with no coaching experience in any form getting shots this dude is winning championships in europe and knows how to coach, period.

He won championships in Europe over the last 10 years, even if he used his Israel connections dude has been putting in work in basketball for 30 years... he didn't just walk off the street.NBA experts and players vouched for him.
