I get that dudes on the Coli love to hate the Celtics and Ainge, but these threads where they keep just making statements like they are facts when they aren’t is getting old AF.

“The Celtics got rid of Kyrie for Kemba.”

“Danny gave away Hayward and Horford for nothing.”

“All these max players left because they hated it.”

Kyrie told a fukking crowd of people he was resigning, talked to KD about Brooklyn, fukked up the locker room and left.

Horford didn’t like what was happening in the Kyrie locker room, got a godfather offer from Philly that C’s couldn’t match and ended up in Oklahoma a year later because of how bad his contract is.

Hayward signed to be a #2 and ended up injured and a #4 and got a huge bag in Charlotte.

Like…that’s just what happened.

If you wanna talk shyt about the C’s, talk about signing Kemba, the fans overreacting to him, Danny not cashing in his chips on different players, Brad Steven’s privilege….but dead all that false shyt about ‘getting rid’ of players.

It's not going to be to many better options then Kemba out there unless the Celtics know something that the general public doesn't.

Only problem is if Boston thinks they can use Kemba for an upgrade...you will basically get another player similar to Kemba that didnt pan out or an assortment of trash that adds up to his contract...

They don't need a Kemba-replacement though. They just need a savvy hard nose vet that can reel them in at times. Lowry, Conley, Rondo (he's not coming back though)

I can't remember how things went down, but couldn't they have kept Rozier? Wouldn't that have been 100% better?

I know a PG vet they could use, but he's better off staying where he is currently.

Honestly, the majority of the league could use same PG vet.

Rozier was a RFA. Danny could have resigned Rozier when Kyrie chose to leave, instead he did a sign and trade with Charlotte so they could give Terry his offer sheet and make the numbers work.

Hindsight is obviously 20/20, but based on Kemba's health since we signed him, we'd be in a better financial position had we not and instead resigned Terry.
