Yea he's not that athletic but when I saw him play he was aggressive as fukk grabbing every rebound he could. And his J is juice. I think he's got a lot of potential.

Ehhh... to piggyback on what other skeptics of the article have said... I don't recall Rose having any trouble jacking up 20+ shots whenever he wanted (no matter how shytty he was shooting) nor any consequences when it came to pulling up for ill-advised 3s early in the shot clock despite whatever the actual play was supposed to be (and despite shooting 29% from that range).

So that he would suddenly become passive aggressive to the offense because of Jimmy... when he'd been going off script on that same offense all season and playoffs (making game winning and game tying shots).. that's a little hard to believe. I think an overall frustration at the team's inability to compete, plus not feeling it's worth risking injuring by trying to attack the basket 1 on 5.. had more to do with it... not that it makes it any better. It's still a very bad look and it was pretty disappointing watching that.

But let's be real here... prior to game 6 nobody was talking that "it's Butler's team now" stuff. Everybody was drinking the koolaid and proclaiming Rose was back. And so the expectation for next year should be that Rose hits the ground running... as no more excuses for not playing consistently great.
