I don't really watch the Suns, so what's this guy's player profile? I know he had that one high scoring game, but even then I wasn't exactly wowed...lmk.
People will hate, but he's the best YOUNG perimeter scorer to enter the league since Kevin Durant.
3 level player.....Slash, mid range, or shoot the 3pt shot out to 35 ft+
Can even post up(Big for a SG at 6'6-6'7.Which is why I rank him slightly above Kyrie for best young scorer to enter the league since KD) and go
ISO with the best of them.Has to improve his defense, but he's definitely a 1st option player on offense. In general, most hated/underappreciated
young player in the league. The Suns have been shytty/dysfunctional for damn near a decade.Casual fans love to skim the surface and take a shyt
on him.I've seen him get trapped/double teamed every game. All the defensive attention is on him, and he still put up 25 5 and 5 as a 20/21 yr old.
Only player to match those numbers at that age are LeBron, Durant, and Kobe. And that's on a team with no coaching/system and surrounded by
young/raw/incompetent teammates. He really has to work his azz off to generate any offense. Not only that, the Suns made him the main facilitator
once Bledsoe got traded.I'm not really going to judge Booker until he gets some better teammates around him.His efficiency numbers started
trending upwards last year.Good sign considering his workload increased.I think he could top out as a guy who could get you 28 5 and 5 on 45+%
shooting 40% 3 pt range.Once the Suns stop depending on him to save the whole franchise, maybe Ayton/Josh Jackson develop into above average
players....We'll see Book balance his game out more.Like I said, casual fans don't really understand his situation.Ever since that 70 pt game, people
look at him as some kind of gimmick player.Yeah the Suns called timeouts, but he was still busting the Celtics azz.And it wasn't like they weren't
trying to stop him. He'll be one of the most special scorers the game has seen by the time he hangs it up.If he can just play average D, we're
looking at a future HOF IMO
