AA's, especially militant ones can be extremely tribal as well. The Coli brands itself as a "pro black" message board, but a strong majority of self proclaimed pro-black posters are really black American nationalists who despise or think little of other black groups. The Locker Room is loaded with anti-African/West Indian/Black Latino rhetoric (especially Dominican, Jesus Christ!), and there are threads outright urging other AA's to stop caring about other black people. AA's are thought of as "black" first in part because America is the "default" country in western society (it's the world's only superpower), so American blacks are the "default" black people in western society. Black people are not united at all, but no way in hell are AA people this sole black ethnicity trying to bring the diaspora together (one of the most ridiculous claims I've read this whole year

Asian and white groups aren't "scooping up resources with no issues", they're criticized everyday for what's perceived as neocolonialism, but what can you do if you're a desperately poor, disenfranchised black person in a totalitarian dictatorship country with a despotic leader? Citizens of African countries generally have a lot less agency than you, yet you don't blame yourself for the racial wealth gap in America, white police getting away with murdering unarmed black people, redlining etc., so how can you not consider that Africans across the continent probably don't want any of that colonial mess (I know several personally who aren't happy at all with China's involvement in their country)? Whites/Asians etc. cut shady deals with African governments to get that access, and there's nothing a regular person there can do about it. The leaders (minus Botswana's and Rwanda's) are all c00ns who sold their dignity and people out for wealth and power, there's definitely no debating that, but blaming the citizens would be like blaming black Americans for white supremacy and poverty in the United States. Stop that.
South Africa is the only country that's explicitly anti-African despite being in Africa.
