It's like dark skin women gotta try so hard to convince everybody they're comfortable in their skin. To me, it screams the opposite.

Darkskin women have been bombarded with images of what ideal beauty is supposed to look like and it's not them.

They've been told they were ugly, gross, should be lighter their entire lives.

It's not about convincing others it's about trying to convince themselves they are worthy in a world that tells them they aren't.
