the party still ran poorly and often struggled to attract energy and was far too reliant on "moderate" voters they gained some ground with the popularity of Obama among much of the Dem leaning electorate, this was my personal experience in observing the local State branch here in GA (though it is still loads better than much of the rest of the Deep South I will concede) I'm fully aware of GOP attempts to marginalize already marginalized voter blocks, multiple things can be true at once.
I mean it's Georgia, you're giving people life for weed but I get what you're saying... idk what you expect to foster in that environment.
The issues you face are a result of "something", it's not like no one knows what they're doing or cares. You know what I'm saying? Obviously improvements can/need to be made by the Dems. If you can't even change things to at least at the base level be able to compete and hold offices to change the things you want to where are you?
