And Canarsie, representation of Middle Class Black excellence

Representation of un-tampered Black culture. I love that place

No doubt this area is 95% black. Black owned businesses everywhere. Endless stores of Caribbean bakeries and restaurants, African clothes and grocery stores, Black American dept and fast food stores

And the Legendary Rappers from there

I live in Cararsie at the moment. LOVE how suburban it is.

I like it, Flatbush and Cararsie are my favorite areas in BK, Flatbush >>>> ENY/Brownsville imo, the latter two are too grimy to have a appreciation thread

And southeast Queens is pretty much the same

Canarsie

i biked up the Belt Parkway to Canarsie quite a bit.
real nice area around the shore but it gets much more dense real quick about a half mile from the shore and then you are in urban sprawl.

Flatbush ave from Prospect park down to past Target is crazy...once you get past Target it starts to calm down.

Is it still CRIP-narsie out there? Still remember them nikkas chasing us outta there for wearing to much red back in 2002. Looking back now I was only 14 at the time and they were just young teenage goons but COT DAMN it was a lot of them nikkas yo!!! Fight started as 3 on 2, then 3 on 5, then 2 on 8, because Ishmael bytchass ran. then 2 on 12!!!!!! All in like 10 minutes. They didnt just chase us from Canarsie high, them nikkas chased us all the way to the damn train station!! Took an ass kicking that dayfrfr. Come to think about it i left NY in 2003 so that was my Last time ever going there. Yo my freshman year of HS was fukkin crazy. Thank god moms moved us to the A, probably wouldnt have made it through 4 years of that shyt.
