They weren't trying to bring an end to the Union, they just wanted to separate from it. A traitor betrays trust, they never told the North that they were loyal to them, they told them to suck a dikk. They were secessionists, not traitors. Just like if we get Black Sovereignty, which is necessary, we won't be traitors, we'll just be separating from cacs and not givin them our money anymore.
