SMF and LAX to VA and NC
Doesn’t matter how close they are to the boarding state. Charlotte feels like nothing in SC. Drove through SC to Charlotte and it literally felt like night and day.
You've never lived here though. I lived in South Charlotte, Charlotte has plenty in common with South Carolina...

North Carolina has plenty in common with South Carolina. Anyone saying they feel "nothing" alike just aren't well-versed in what they are seeing or what to look for. You also said there's "nothing" southern about Maryland or DC or Baltimore or Northern Virginia, all of which is false, so your geographical perceptive tastes aren't the most trustworthy lol...
Okay. But isn't everything you listed IN NC?

You keep saying people from SC come to NC all the time.

True dat. Guess why?
nikka, I know you've never lived here because NCers go to SC all the time 🤣 🤣. Charlotteans be in SC all the time, you got NCers from all over the state who be down in SC...

Everything I like about Carolina is in NC but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate SC. SC is too hot for me. Racism is everywhere in the US but SC is a bit too racist, too slow for me, it's biggest cities are too small for me. So I prefer NC of the two but plenty muhfukkas love SC...

Two of the top areas that Coasters and northerners continue to move to. And for the purposes of this thread, I consider Carolina one place, as both Carolinas are super fast-growing and the biggest, most important Carolina city is literally on the border of both states...

I've been in Fort Worth for 4 days and I'm here for a month. Honestly not that bad here, I've previously been to Dallas and El Paso and thus far I'd say Fort Worth is my favorite of the three, but the fukking heat is something that would forever keep me away from Texas. When I came to Dallas before it was also in the summer and the heat here is disrespectful and embarrassing. Last two nights it's still 100° after 9pm, that kinda shyt is unreal...

Anyway, which do yall prefer, as a place to live, visit, or both? I'm not the biggest SC guy but I'd take it over Texas and collectively as one Carolina I'm definitely choosing over Texas, there's just minimal appeal here but someone here make the case!
Carolina because they have Fury 325 and I been dying to ride that MF

I lived in Texas for 19 years -- Houston is best, Dallas is second, and I wouldn't suggest anything else unless you prefer a quiet life.
Lived in South Carolina for 30 years -- the shyt can be beautiful but it's a hell hole. Wouldn't recommend.
Lived in North Carolina for 57 years-- this is the best out of the 3. Decent infrastructure and quality higher education. Depending on where you are in the state you can get that 'southern' feel or not.
Either you had multiple homes in different states or you're 106 years old breh :damn:

Was it full when you moved there?
My family moved to Tennessee from North Carolina and Virginia in 1800s. I was born here. I inherited a house from a family member. So this is my State. You transplanting complaining ass nikkas that don't even have a connection to a State, but want to bum rush in need to keep it moving.

I personally know that Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana would welcome transplanters. So get there.

I have plenty of family in SC. Been going there all my life.

I'm posting from beautiful NC right now.

Anyway. You just listed all the reasons that I say SC is not like NC.

No Charlotte felt like a present day city. Literally across the boarder South Carolina feels very deep southern and doesn’t really become progressive like Charlotte until you each the Charleston by the water.

Add to the fact many of folks that live in SC don’t even like Charlotte the city itself
