the racism is delivered differently per area but you still gonna catch it The best we can do is try to be in spots where there's already enough examples of blacks being successful so you don't ALSO have to carry a huge chip on your shoulder constantly as that can be fukking exhausting if you just tryna do your job and go home in peace.
And when you actually think about how big your social circle will realistically be, it's not hard to keep it majority black outside of coworkers

I'll agree on the weather.
Love being a Texan but we got hurricanes, tornadoes, flash floods, hail, dust storms/haboobs, swamp heat, dry heat, droughts, ice storms and sometimes blizzards in the panhandle. Probably the only place that gets all that shyt. The worst of the Plains, southeast and southwest.
But.....I've learned Black people just instinctively hate Dallas for some reason. It's always vague and it's never something that's truly unique to the city.

Yep and here in Spartanburg and the upstate in general as well. Spartanburg is going to be completely unrecognizable in 5-10 years. Already very different from even 5 years ago.
I was in Greenville last year and was like... Oh WOW. This shyt is definitely on the rise.
I could see a future train from Charlotte to atlanta having to go through Greenville for sure
