The weather did nothing but bring the issues Southwest is having to the limelight. Southwest needs to be called out and investigated for their BS. Internally they are a wreck, this winter storm just exposed it is all.

I looked and the busiest domestic route is between LA and Vegas. Brightline planning a high speed rail route between the two so that should ease some stress on that route.

They have a local route down here and are expanding to Orlando and Tampa but most people just make the drive since it's prolly cheaper than flying and less hassle of dealing with an airport. I know Amtrak has some routes but those take longer and it's not the high speed trains. It would have to be a route that would be worth it. The west has way more open land for this type of thing. One from Houston to Dallas possibly could work. Looks like they had that idea but it hasn't resulted in anything.

It's tough doing something between the different states cuz of all the political bullshyt that occurs. I think by the end of the decade we do see that Texas one and who knows what other routes. I think they'll be more western based routes tho.
