As a 1200 owner, I think this dudes clone sounds much more like an SP. Even though its a DIY work in progress deal, I'd like to see what comes of it.

Not the worst, due to rarity, and the fact they are more or less making it better than new. If the 2400 wasn't being made, that would be a great buy if you were serious about using an SP.
You would have to be super nice with wiring, etc. to do those mods yourself.
