I’m just glad the US stopped relying on Russian rockets to transport people to the ISS.

When I learned how that was the situation, years ago, I was pretty shocked, even though space is a business in itself so it makes sense to commission out certain roles to certain countries that have been known for things.

like, Russia has always been really good with their rockets, since the space race. But, it just surprised me to see no US based aeronautical companies wanted to take the bid and challenge the Russian agencies
