I saw it yesterday. I enjoyed it. That husband was the sorriest excuse for a man I've ever seen!!
it brought good humor to the movie though.. so it was entertaining. His wife to me was the star of the show..
Met Mackenzie Davis in LA this year lol
very cool and polite. We were both at the same wedding, the bride intro'd us the next morning. Would have no idea who she was. It was like a 20 second interaction but yeah she's in my friends circle.
Watched Straw Dogs last night. probably see this week.

I went in blind and didn't know anything about the original other than what I skimmed this thread beforehand, but I did go and immediately watch the 2022 after I got out just to be able to compare.
Firstly, the min fam would've tried to have my daughter on the front of his bike, we woulda had a problem right there 
Shyt, if my daughter thought I would've been running all around the pavilions lookin' for her damn bunny, we would've had a problem, let alone going byke for that shyt after they left the first time.
Anyways, there's a difference between a slow burn and then just flat out boring or draggin' it and the 24' version was tiring that thin like wit tacking on dem extra mins.
Anyways, to the nitty gritty, after watching the original, I'm not mad they changed the ending for "American" audiences. The OG bleak as hell
. And the fact that buddy in 22' didn't hip his wife to the shyt made it that more devastating but for whatever that culture is over there, I guess it is what it is. I see the merits in both but got damn, mfs had to get naked & get stoned

Then the current joint just straight up turned into Strangers w/I the masks and damn near home alone with the mfs trapped in the house angle.

Yeah a remake 2 years later is wild. I didnt even know it was happening saw the movie online and wanted to see them get hit by rocks again so started it about halfway through

You wanted to see dese mfs get butt ass & pelted wit a bunch of stones while not even trying to run and maybe live to fight another day to save their kid? That's like somebody remaking In Too Deep and niccas' being mad nobody caught the pool stick this time around
This was entertaining and makes the OG seem that much more ass satire or not
