Spec Ops: The Line still hunts me.

After watching GVMERS video of spec ops: the line, it gave me the creepy vibes that I had when I first experienced it as a free game on PS+ on the PS3 years ago.
I thought nothing of it, I felt like it was nothing special, and it definitely was mediocre with it's barely passable gameplay, but boy this game played the hell out of me. I give this game the most respect for what it was. Still can't believe 2K green lit this.
About to download this on PC, and play it again. It's been some years since I touch it.

It's gameplay isn't the best, but it has an excellent meta-commentary on violence and media.

it might not be fun for some to play now since the mechanics are a bit outdated...tried to play it a 3rd time a couple years ago and the gameplay wasn’t as fun

Everyone I know that played and beat it said they really just set back for 5 min and was like

Someone got this for me as a christmas present when it came out but I told them to take it back. They knew I liked Mass Effect so they figured I would like this, COD and all that other shyt too.

Definitely one of the most surprisingly good games I've ever played. Almost didn't even download it for free because I thought it was just some crappy shooter.
