Got land in the sand of the West Indies
he explained that he wanted to exaggerate positivity and owning things instead of the negativeyeah but Ed's biggest song is all lies too
He said growing up in 80’s Brooklyn he had plenty of negative experiences he could have rhymed about but didn’t want to push negativity
This is one of those instances where people are gonna see the video title and flip out without even watching and seeing the conversation taking place...
Also, keep in mind that NWA by 1991 were rappin' about not only killin' nikkas, but also murdering prostitutes and raping 14 year old girls and all types of shock value type shyt... I'd like to think "not living that life" ain't even an insult when you compare it to their material. They themselves would tell you they weren't murderers and rapists, so I don't know why people are offended when someone else says it as well. I get the implied disrespect of saying somebody ain't livin' the life they portray, but the internet is bein' super soft over this... ironically enough.
