I heard alot of states are trying to do this to alot of innocent people. they loosing money for not doing their fukking jobs and prosecuting innocent people. So to save money they trying to limit the states payout to wrongly convicted men. heard about this in chicago ever since that cop was accused of torturing those people in the prisons...

They're basically telling him he would have been unemployed since $25K/yr doesn't even come close to the damages you'd have to pay someone for basically kidnapping them... I mean think about how much he could sue for if a person did it to him not the legal system... Kept him locked in a lil room for 40 years? They have TVs in prison. He's not that out the loop but his old stumping grounds, old friends and family is what's going to spook him. The girls they had a thing for moved on and had children, etc. that's what's going to fukk with them.
The truly sad shyt is how often this shyt happens. Think about how many brothers are locked up RIGHT NOW and have been locked up for decades based on a lie some cracker told or some bullshyt a policeman made up.

Really fukked up. He should get $39 million. One million for each year. What really messes me up is when these guys get released and they be on that "I'm not angry or bitter" tip. I'm sorry if I spent even a week in jail for something I didn't do I would be very angry so just imagine 40 years.
