Windows Phone doesn't have enough apps compared to iOS and Android. Plus Microsoft apps work better on the competing platforms. And the main reason they ain't blowing up is because Google ain't providing enough support and services for WP.

So its ok for you only having 2 options?
What if tomorrow you can only choose between pepsi or coke, even if you don't drink soda would you be ok with that?

No. But options exist if you want to fill a specific role to your customers. Windows Phone doesn't have an appeal or role to fill.

IOS has the closed garden ecosystem that appeal to people who want simple and expensive technology. Android fills the opposite and more diverse role of an open ecosystem with choices of all sizes and interfaces to appeal to everyone. What does Windows Phone have to stand out? Blocks?

I can't answer because i don't use Windows phone, but you're saying there shouldn't be competition? Maybe people like the design of windows or its cheaper idk. By your logic they should close all small - medium supermarkets out there because Walmart has everything... Its always important to have options even if it looks insignificant.
