They heard 50 Cent growing up so that makes sense. Pac was long gone by the time a current 18 year old was born. But that same person heard 50 Cent in real time. Nobody calls a new rapper the new "50 Cent". It's still the new "Pac". His impact will never disappear. He's like the MJ of rap.
