I know a girl who was bit by a brown recluse. It happened while she was sleeping and she didn't know what it was. Long story short, she went to the emergency room and a couple days later they called and said it was a brown recluse and if had if shown up a couple hours later she would have died.

So yeah, you should go to the emergency room.

To be fair I went hiking through heavy shrub and my ankles got chewed up by red ants yesterday as a result. The only other time I ever felt that type of pain was when I brushed through poison ivy. But this was less intense just reminiscent

To the point i used to think people were CAPPIN for attention.

I’m outside all day everyday doing yard work etc and I’ve only been bitten once on my neck Whilst sitting in my garage. It was a wolf spider .

i had an ex that was bit when we were in the field one time. She ended up having to go get it lanced and drained and had a fat ass bandaid. Spiders ain’t no hoe. Snakes aren’t either.

Go get checked out ASAP. I have had spider bites but they didn't hurt and ache. You need to see a doctor right away before it gets worse. Praying everything is alright. Better safe than sorry.

seriously though, as an RN, go to the doctor if the puncture wound is dark, brown recluse venom can eat away at your flesh. If it is painful due to swelling and or pus it may need to be cut and drained breh.
