Read some early reviews for it earlier this year when he screened it at a festival. Apparently, unless he did some editing, the movie is good but overly long, there is also a "random" twist near the ending and Spike Lee's Mookie does indeed show up for a cameo.

im not a fan of the camera quality but ill always check out a spike lee joint, his style is always cool to me.....and for some reason anytime i see a wire character i cant get past their character...this had me like when did lester freeman get so religious

Movie looks good I don't think he's doing what Tyler Perry is doing by catering to church going black christians. If anything it looks like he's criticisizing religion..

Movie has gotten mixed reviews with critics either loving it or hating it.

I'm still waiting for the Toussaint L'Ouverture movie ...........................I'll give this a watch, doesn't really strike me, anyway Definitely know it was made in 2011-12 with them Ipads...
