Vibe of the movie took a complete 180 by the ending than what I anticipated for when starting it

I liked it though, Spike on a comeback tour

Finished it. This might be da most Spike Lee joint ever.

Tonally it's all over the board but after the relatively quiet build-up it finds its momentum and kept me captivated until the end. Paul might be the deepest character in Spike's entire filmography.
