ahh man this shyt makes me feel old

I remember back in the 90's, afterschool you actually had to go find your friends if you wanted to go hoop or whatever. Knocking on nikkas doors and shyt, they mom opens up like "He ain't comin out today, he grounded" and all our boys being like :sadcam: :gladbron:

I was driving around my area recently, around 7 in the evening, and it was beautiful weather and all that, and I saw 10 kids in a park. 10! :why: Back in the day, the park and the bball courts would be packed, I'm talkin at least 100 kids everyday chillin. What the fukk happened?:ld:

Parks are definitely not as poppin as they were back when we were teens...kids dont hoop outdoors as much it seems

they never played sh*t when they said they would. EVER. also they'd never play songs i requested because they were too
"indie" or not requested enough i guess... instead of just saying "hey kiddo ...clear channel won't let me play any songs that aren't on this lil list on my desk" those lying b*stards would be like "OK! thanks for calling in!" playing with my hopes and dreams. :to: fukk em. :bustback:

Girl, you just hit home with this one....

too fukking real....

But, believe it or not, I was a persistent caller and 2 times outta 10, some
poor soul DJ heard my cries and played what I wanted....

Man, the real R&B heat on came when you were deep in REM stage sleep.

That's how I discovered Janet Jackson's "Someday Is Tonight" :scheme:

Homie 1 : Yo lewis you missed it man, it was all hot and sunny, we all got our first bit off p*ssy :krs:

Homie 2: For real lewis we all took turns to drive :krs:

Homie 3: We all found gold chains too

Homie 4: As soon as we left ya house there was like a 100 dollars on the floor :mj:

remember when it was a LUXURY to get a Walkman with a 'Rewind' button? A rewind button was a plus.

Before I had one, the player I had only had a fast forward button. So if I wanted to hear a part over, I had to take the tape out, flip it over, fast forward a while, then take it out again, flip it and put it back in.
