Outside of athletics, a man really reaches his prime in his 40s when everything is taken into account (wisdom/game; financial stability) so this is really a no brainer. That's never mattered a bit in regards to goodlooks, as the rican/dominican(?) lady behind the counter at Qdoba today kept calling me handsome and gorgeous as she made my food.
