My relationship has cost more because we do more than when I was single. We usually split or if he pays once I pay the next time. We have also grown our life together which has caused more responsibilities and expenses. Growing up costs money :yeshrug:

Would he say the same thing?

:ehh:

Would be interested to hear this as well.

But the answer is simple.

Unless they were the type of woman who already had financial acumen, it didn't impact their finances.

Because we (men) aren't spending on things that would impact a woman's finances in a positive way. We're spending to keep them entertained. That's money down the drain. Their finances will remain unchanged.

Now, a smart woman would recognize having a financial partner means more money to save/invest, but we all know 20-something people aren't mostly thinking about that, especially social-media addicted women who are trying to keep up with one another.

Good points

I believe so. We are pretty fifty fifty. For example we are out of town. He rented the car. I’m paying for gas and tolls. When we go to Starbucks and stuff like that I take care of it to even out the big expense of the car rental.

So basically relationships make both parties spend more than either would alone

:ohhh:

Hell ya! I saved a helluva lot of bread. :pachaha:A lot of men today love to cook. I had one boyfriend feed me 1/3 of my meals for a whole year. But that was our agreement. He'd cook and I'd drive to see him. Win/win.
was his decision to cook for you financial or did you prefer his cooking?

Didn't really change anything for me, except when we went out he usually paid. If I was single, I would be paying for myself....but I don't go out that much anyway.

I know some women expect men to pay some of their bills, or give them expensive gifts and whatnot. I don't see anything wrong with that as long as the guy is willing to do that for them...it's just not my cup of tea.

He just preferring sleeping in his own home but he lived farther away from the city so it wasn't really convenient to always go to his house. So we made a compromise. He'd feed me 3 meals a day while I was over his house. The drive wasn't far so it was a win to me.

Yep that’s what I believe. If I wasn’t with him my ass would be home watching a movie. Or if I went out I would have pre gamed at home and got in the club for free lol

So it is his idea to do these things?

So basically he made both of yall spend more money???

He was the driving factor?

If he did none of that stuff and yall just chilled at home (like you normally do), would you find him..... boring :sas2:
