There are some who believe we could scale it up and use it to communicate with people worldwide almost instantly through written messages but they're completely delusional if you ask me. How are they gonna build telephone lines across oceans?

Imagine a bunch of farmers in China and India being interested in building telephone lines so Americans can send them lame ass messages about a dying sport like the NBA with their stiff unathletic bums who can barely reach the rim.
