Alright, so this is a spin off from the Wu thread. The point is to argue for a rapper or group to show why said artist(s) has/have the strongest track record based on quality of individual songs rather than whole albums. The idea is to create the best possible 'Best Of' album for an artist.
The rules:
1. There have to be 20 tracks on the album. No more, no less.
Why 20 tracks? Because there has to be a limit and more than 20 tracks will cause more disagreement on which tracks belong and which don't.
This way, also, artists with less praised catalogues have a chance to compete because you only need 20 strong tracks to outdo the other artist.
2. No more than 4 tracks off the same album can be included. To avoid listing entire albums.
3. Miscellaneous songs (features, unreleased, B-sides etc., songs from soundtracks) are allowed. They are often some of the best songs, that's why.
Now let's bring it with that Wu/Nas/Jay debate, though other artists are welcome to compete too of course.
