Almost everyday now

I have days when I don't feel like it and I just order delivery from a local spot, pickup a carryout, or get somebody to bring me something.

I was preparing a meal a few days ago and I randomly thought "damn...I gotta stop underappreciating good women that can cook very well on a daily basis". The shyt is not as easy as it looks

I am in school full time (doctorate) and got kids, my mom helps out a lot. I do cook on weekends. Made Sunday dinner last night. Lemme live.

My problem with cooking is i only know how to follow a recipe. Problem is i dont know how to improvise. so if i look up a recipe, it's always 1-2 ingredients i dont have and have to run to the store. I wanna be able to freestyle in the kitchen and not follow a recipe.

No, especially for us gymrat nikkas...cooking is arduous and meticulous...there's a monotony to it which is part of the reason why I want a girlfriend.

It's time consuming depending on what you cook. Especially if it's all from scratch. Yesterday I made gumbo so the roux itself seemed to take an hour or so. I don't cook everyday maybe 4 to 5 times. I want to make it to 5 to 7 times and make my lunches all the time.

It's expensive too. I spend so much money on food
