i agree that was his ceiling but i always felt like they were trying to push him as some sort of new HBK but he was too vanilla and cardboard to make any of that seem like a reality...
if 10 years(or whatever number) ago you asked who out of Miz & Morrison was gonna be champ..i def wouldnt think Miz would even get a title shot at any point in his career.
sn: this run in Lucha Underground is more proof that Morrison is a C+ player at best...even on a lower scale with less competition he cant find a way to stand out.
"Morrison" has put out great matches in LU. Compared to most people in the E right now he looks like a super star and he actually delivers good matches. People mark out for dean ambrose and watch him put out struggle matches every week tho so I guess people dont actually care about that part
They'll sacrifice their first born to put Blandy over, the definition of a non draw, but Barrett, the guy who was raising ratings and was red hot during his INITIAL push is sidetracked? LOL.
let's take the thing that the fans like, and plug it like a shytty app for a few weeks to squeeze like 20k in itunes sales...and job him out...yeah that'll get him over
he's the same vanilla trash actor to me. he is still cringe worthy on the mic and his matches just arent interesting to me. he went heel and still comes off as plain as shyt to me"Morrison" has put out great matches in LU. GTFOH with that bullshyt. Johnny Mundo is one of LU's top stars and been killing it since day one. He was a big deal in all the big storylines, one of the most important players in Aztec Warfare, had one of the best feuds against Cuerno and now they're putting him up against Alberto El Patron, who might not be the top face of the company but is the biggest star on the roster. Dude's top 3 on that roster, breh.
Not even sure if this "stint" counts as a "push"

Eric Escobar's planned push would include him proposing to Vickie Guerrero and becoming his future wife.
The storyline would also include him performing the frog splash and imitating Vickie's late husband Eddie Guerrero.
Despite Vickie agreeing to the gimmick and storyline, it was cancelled despite Vickie wanting to play a major heel role.

Might have to add Big E, he was supposed to get the push Reigns is getting now and was the guy Vince wanted to be the face of the company. It depends on how he branches out from New Day, but not sure if the crowd will ever take him seriously.
Anyone remember when they tried making Miz into a Y2J-lite serious heel? He had the worst expressions ever and was not a believable bad ass at all or a believable champ.
Thank goodness HHH threw him to the bushes once he started putting his fingerprints on the product, he immediately put Miz back in the midcard where he belongs and he's been there ever since.
He ain't bad as a midcarder, will give him that.
WWE fukked up putting Ryback who was on that win streak against Punk who had that long ass title reign at Hell In A Cell. E booked themselves in a corner, even though they popped a nice buyrate because people were curious about who would lose. Goldberg chants ain't help and he was/is a unsafe worker, and HHH ain't much of a fan either. He has gotten repushed again, but he won't ever get to the level leading up to that PPV match against Punk.
He pinned Undertaker clean on a Smackdown before his 1st Mania match against Michaels in 09. Rusev is much better than him, even though they got similar pushes. Would have helped if Kozlov had a manager. He was done for when he put on that awful match against HHH for the WWE title in Survivor Series 08.
To give another fukk you to ECW, the E made Zeke the last ECW champion ever, even though Christian was the only good and positive thing about ECW. Put on the team Raw Survivor Series team in 2010 as a face. Became part of the Corre, feuded with Wade Barrett for a long ass time and won the IC title and had it for a minute. Definitely a Vince guy, but was a terrible worker, and thankfully Titus ended him with the "Zeke ain't got no cuts" promo.
so they literally gave his storyline to Edge...

every time he comes out there honestly. always have, but ive hated that guy since the first time i saw him in wwe.
