Since its winter I recommend a good topcoat/overcoat/ You can wear it with fancier clothing and casually.

Only spend real money on "timeless" clothes. Dress clothes, mostly. If it's trendy, don't spend much money on it. It will be out of style in two years.

Thrift store. I buy and sell used clothing online. I get a lot of clothing wholesale by the pound. However I also go to thrift stores to find consistent high end brands. Consignment store are great too especially if the are in the nice part of town. I am talking True Religion, Armani, Polo, Vineyard Vines and so on. Plato's Clothes is great too.

The main thing is making sure your clothes fit right and the quality of the material/stitching doesn't look sus. Besides that, you can shop pretty much anywhere and spend very little.

Macys - Levis jeans/denim jackets, nike/adidas track jackets
Beauty supply store - plain skullies, bucket hats
Ex. Hanes white t $3, Wrangler lumberjack $20, Levis $35, beauty supply store skully $3. throw on some construction timbs and a decent watch and you good money.
