In light of Kurt Angle getting into the HOF and seeing brehs argue about whether his WWE or TNA career was better (with a list of receipts), it got me thinking. Who has the greatest/longest resume of classic matches?

This isn't a question of who you think the greatest wrestler/promo is, but rather who was part of the most classic matches.

It doesn't mattered if they were "carried".
It doesn't matter how many classic promos they have out of the ring.
It doesn't matter how much charisma they have.
It doesn't matter how much they're regarded as the GOAT.

As long as they were on the other side (or 6 sides :heh:) of the ring it counts.

Who ya got?

AJ, Kurt Angle, HBK, John Cena, Undertaker (I'm still :jbhmm: on this one but he has great matches with HBK, Mankind, and Kane) Macho Man, Bret Hart

Taker is hard to really gauge. IMO, he didn't have his first great match (though he had a few moments) until Mankind got there. After that he had a few handfuls of great matches and one undisputed all time classic with Michaels.

that's why I was 50/50 on Taker. His back nine has been much better than his front 9...but he has a LOT of crappy matches in between. Punk, Triple H, HBK (I like 1 and 2) are all VERY good matches. He definitely should be considered...
