All that talk about being employable sounds like some house nikka, presentable slave type shyt.

Im not living this life for my appearance to be approved by crackers. As a free black, you can do what you want to do and still succeed. First you have to define success by your own terms.

Being an employee should never be the ultimate goal in the first place. This boss status baby. :win:

I like tats. I have several.
But
I'm a black person first so I see things through that lens.

Hand tats, neck tats, facial tats make it that much harder for a bm or bw to secure and succeed in employment. Can be an extra point the police use to profile you.
Should it be that way? fukk no. But it is.

I'm all for tats but I would always counsel any person considering one

1. Pick carefully. Ftmp they are permanent. That weed leaf you thought was so cool when you were in Hs isn't gonna seem nearly as cool to you when your kids are in hs, I promise.

2. Get them someplace where they can be covered up if necessary.
It's not that hard.

Most people, particularly not Black folks jump straight into the workforce or business community at "boss status" most folks in this country gonna have to work for the white man at least a little bit to get their coins together so they can own their own shyt and hopefully never have to answer to the white man again.

Make their money work for you. That's not presentable slave shyt, that's smart shyt.

Play the game smarter, not harder.

It's all in one's mind.

If you see yourself as most people, then you can expect common results.

If you see yourself as unique and supreme, you can expect some extraordinary things.

It's other ways to get money out here than having to impress a white man, you just gotta be willing to play a little chess. I ain't just talking shyt, I'm speaking what I know. :dame:

I'm saying.....who gives a fukk? Unless you're tap dancing hardcore taking all the bass out ya voice, you're gonna be profiled anyways. Far as These cacs are concerned my whole body might as well be one big tattoo, ink won't make much of a difference :heh:

Exactly.

Then these boot-licking ass nikkas that be preaching that shyt ain't even living the type of life a nikka aspires to live anyway.

Why would a young nikka take their advice? They didn't have visible tattoos and still didn't succeed. :mjlol:

Always
I think unemployed
I think doesnt give a shyt
I think getting money without a 9-5
I think Thot
I think i wasnt thinking about my future when i did this
I think i set people up
I think, dont trust me.

If you darkskinned, wtf are you getting tats for. We cant see that shyt.
I work for people who make anywhere from 80-250k a year. They work for google, apple, at&t, etc. None of them have tattoos. If you plan to get a job you have to look the part.

You can't work at a health foods store and wear Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump shirts, feel me? Mowgli's view is that of most professionals earning 80k and up.

That's why I don't have any tattoos, I stay in shape, and I read the news. I'm around these people. They won't judge you to your face but trust me they're thinking everything Mowgli said.

I always find sleeves to be fascinating and figured that if I had ever decided to get tatted, I'd have gone that route but I get the feeling that "No tattoo" will be the new tattoo in the future, so I'm rebelling by not getting any. Also, I'm too indecisive to want something permanently on my body.

It's weird though because I've been a gym head for years and more than a few people have gone , "I see you with those arms. How are you not gonna tat those up?" as if it's baffling that I wouldn't.
