Soul Survivor is a classic album to me

i dug Pete & CL, but honestly i never thought enough of either album to call it that. both had plenty of heat on em tho

Soul Survivor is his magnum opus. Nobody really cared to deem stuff classic anymore because the death knell had rung so loudly that nothing mattered outside of those of us with good taste vs. the hordes.
