Its a ball and chain. Its the reason i don't think i'll have any unless i go full passport bro or take a more favorable second citizenship. especially once you get to the point in life where you're earning more than most women do , meaning your income would be cannibalized by the courts.

apparently there is a passport bro loophole where if your residence isn't in America and your wife has never lived in America, You can use the child support system of her country; And they have no recourse to file in America if the child doesnt inherit residency to America from either parent. At that point it's just a matter of picking your wife based on which countries have the most favorable laws.

For example instead of using the mystical magical best case scenario if both parents stayed together (the American model), The domestic child support system of Columbia or Brazil or South Africa (and many other countries) use their own nation's cost of living as a natural cap for child support.


The great thing about the residency loophole is you're free to come back to America after the split with the mother , but You just can't stay for more than half the year

No they don’t hype the payments up. Child support is a friggin disgrace if you’re a working class man that gets the run of the mill every other weekend custody arrangement. They’re gonna take at least 20% of your pay off top and they may throw in healthcare/dental and a life insurance policy that you must maintain with the child being the sole beneficiary.

Then they say, “ Bro, just get split custody .” If you make more money, guess who still has to pay child support? Yep, you. I personally pay $820/month with 50/50 custody for one child. I’m no Coli breh but I make good money and if my bills weren’t so cheap, that would really suck to have to pay.

Btw… It also impacts the amount of home loan you will be approved for. Child support is a fixed expense, an 18 year auto loan. The stigma associated with being on child support is also embarrassing, you’re automatically suspected of being a deadbeat.

I pay about 700 something in child support, 2 cases and 3 Boys .. all my kids love me and are Daddy's kids..

I got put on child support both times because I got new girlfriends amd wasn't giving BM attention anymore...and it was supposed to be a jab to me because I'm a cool ass nonchalant Nygga and nothing bothers me....that child support sure did though!




Been co parenting and raising our kids together since birth, but since I had ZERO PROOF.…AUTOMATIC BACK Pay!! who the Fck keeps EVERY receipt since their kids inception!? That Shyt ain't normal!

I don’t know where you live, but $820 a month in a major metro city isn’t a lot to raise a child. And there are plenty of dudes who pay much less than that.
