There's a reason the draft doesn't exist anymore. People detest the idea of being forced to fight if they don't believe in the cause. Think about the disaster Vietnam was. Had people who would prefer the yards of San Quentin to the jungles of Saigon. The soldiers were not exactly treated well on their return either. Got labeled baby killers. We haven't had real justification to fight since Germany and Japan surrendered 69 years ago. shyt, the last war even fought on our soil ended 149 years ago back in April. This stuff is all political agendas as opposed to anything that'd really impact the American people. No reason for us to be setting base up halfway around the world.
